In Valmiki's Ramayana, Surya, the Sun God, is venerated as a powerful and benevolent deity. He is regarded as the giver of life, light, and energy to the entire world. In the Ramayana, Surya's influence is significant, as Rama himself is believed to be from the Solar dynasty (Suryavansha), underscoring the divine connection between Rama and Surya.
