Ganapati-Harbinger of Good tidings

Ganapathi, also known as Ganesha, is one of the most revered deities in Hinduism, known as the remover of obstacles and the god of beginnings. He is easily recognized by his elephant head, which symbolizes wisdom, strength, and a profound intellect. Ganesha is the son of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati and holds a special place in Hindu rituals, especially during new ventures, festivals, and religious ceremonies. Often depicted with a potbelly and four arms, he carries various symbolic items such as a modak (sweet), an axe, and a noose. The broken tusk in his hand represents sacrifice and the pursuit of knowledge. Ganapathi is worshipped as Vighnaharta, the one who clears hurdles, making him a guardian figure in daily life. His teachings emphasize humility, devotion, and the importance of learning. Daily Ganapathi Homam and special poojas on Ganesha chaturthis are the offerings for Ganapathi here.
